Can't wait! NEEDTOBREATHE 2013
I have my tickets for a couple NEEDTOBREATHE concerts. I must confess I am a little disappointed that this will be their only North America leg of the Drive All Night Tour 2013. They always put on a great show. One of the best I have seen. They have a new album just around the corner. The NTB boys are workin’ hard! The fans of real music thank them for their nonstop, nose to the grindstone, musical genius. If you haven’t seen or heard them, make it your music goal of 2013!
Starflower
The book Starflower, by Anne Elisabeth Stengl, hits the ground running. There are no warm-ups, it jumps straight into excitement. From page one of the book, our heroine is running to and from danger and keeps the pages turning. It is a mind bending adventure with strange and dangerous turns with magic in every corner. Meeting new friends and strange creatures, Starflower braves the unknown to protect and save the ones she loves.
I couldn’t put this book down, I picked it up right before I went to bed and ended up reading until 9 in the morning, luckily, it was my day off and I was planning to read all day. It was sad when this book ended; I didn’t want it to end. It was nothing like what I expected. I was very skeptical. I had already started this book when I found out it was part of a series, The Tales of Goldstone Wood. The book stood well on its own, but as good as it was, I wish I had read them all and in order. I will be getting the other books as soon as possible. I am sharing this book with my reader friends.
